We had to venture out for my doctor's appointment, and we congratulated ourselves by driving through Chick-fil-A. Then the nice neighbor girl who had a baby girl a few months ago helped us carry ourselves and our french fries up the stairs to our door because we hadn't quite figured that part out yet. And then
Kate called, and that car seat was still so cozy, and now the dad's almost home from work. We made it!
The first day is always the hardest to anticipate, and now you've made it! She's so beautiful and I love her long pretty fingers.
