The tenth anniversary of the worst day of our lives

I meant to (tried to) post this back in May on the 10 year anniversary of my participation Junior Miss but it was one of those days Blogger was down, so, anyway. The theme of the night was something to do with flying so we all had to wear costumes relating to that for the "opening number." My good friend Laura was a very respectable airman, while I was the tooth fairy. In case you're wondering, we didn't win, but our cheeks did get awfully red when we had to play the violin immediately after a fitness routine involving lots of push-ups and Ricky Martin. Here's to the only month of my life I frequented a tanning salon.

  3. Um...Do I have enough curls? Your costume was the best. Those puffy sleeves really slenderize your waist. :) Couldn't think of anyone better to bust out some Ricky Martin with. Thanks for the memories, albeit horrible ones. Also, I should have won fitness, just sayin'.

  5. Thanks for giving me ammunition to make a lifetime of requests for her to dress up like an airman for me.
